Abuse Towards Staff

Our dedicated team is navigating through challenging circumstances to provide you with the best possible service. We kindly ask that you treat them with the respect and understanding that you too would appreciate. Remember, we uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards aggressive behavior.

The administrative and clinical staff have been instructed to highlight and terminate any calls in which abuse occurs and a formal warning will then follow

Emergency exceptions list

At times of severe service pressure we may need to restrict access to clinical appointments to the most vulnerable groups. The list below is a guide. Consider seeking help from other sources that could help with your condition. If you are unsure, please ask our staff to help you navigate this.

An Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) now works in your GP practice.

If you are over 16 years and think you have an MSK (musculoskeletal) problem you can book an appointment directly with them rather than your GP. They are experts in muscle, bone and joint problems including common issues like back, neck, shoulder or knee pain.

The APP will assess you and talk to you about management options. If further tests, investigations or rehabilitation are needed they can organise this. They can facilitate fitnotes if required. The APP works very closely with your GP and other colleagues in the practice to ensure best holistic care.
